A Story To Be Part Of…

It’s fair to say that Hanbury Hall has been around a while. A blue plaque on its wall provides a glimpse of the building’s significant history. Originally built in 1719 as a French Huguenot church, this place has witnessed a count of noteworthy events, including public readings by Charles Dickens and the 1888 Match Girls strike meetings. Standing amongst the ever changing Spitalfields’ streets, we arrive at the present day.
